STANDARD photos are available in several sizes (choose from the Select menu) and are printed on high quality photo paper (matte or glossy depending on what suites the photo best). They are signed on the back side. Standard photos are not numbered and do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity or the Full Story (see the Deluxe photo info below).
DELUXE photos are available in several sizes (choose from the Select menu) and are printed on High Quality Fine Art Paper. They are signed on the front side and numbered as well as signed on the backside. With the Deluxe photo comes a Certificate of Authenticity which proves that the number is authentic and made by me. A signed and numbered artwork is always an investment. Deluxe photos are delivered in a tube.

“This has to be the most beautiful night ever.” That’s what I thought to myself as I stood with my bare feet in the shallow water. Being a northern lights watcher sometimes gives you experiences such as this one.
August was warm. It was +14° Celsius (57°F) at 11 pm as I drove the 27 kilometers (17 miles) and parked the car. Now I started the walk the 2 kilometrers to my selected photo location.
Suddenly I heard a strange noise, like a shot from a cannon played in slow motion. A large flock of birds off creating this loud sound. It was too dark to see them so I don’t know what kind of bird it was. Apart from that sound, the night was almost completely silent.
I found the perfect photography spot on the sand banks half way between the beach and the island. There I could stand on firm sand and I had shallow water in front of me. The surface was absolutely calm because a sand bank protected it from the waves on the other side. It was like a giant mirror.
The northern lights had now increased in strength and danced wildly to the south. But I pointed my camera to the north. A string of aurora stretched across the sky and beneath it was the orange twilight colours. I took a series of pictures. Then I took my shoes off and waded into the shallow water …
