Introducing our BEFORE YOU photo print, capturing a mesmerizing scene of a road extending through a barren landscape between tall trees. Taken on an overcast and chilly April day, this image reminds us that beauty can be found even in seemingly dull surroundings. This print can evoke contemplation and reflection, as the road symbolizes the unpredictable and unknown path of life.

BEFORE YOU – Photo Print
Black Friday 2024
A client wanted me to take some photos to promote a theater play. It turned out I had to film insted of taking photos. The material was used in a video trailer. Luckily I also took a few still photos and this is one of them. The location was special. Those birch strains and that muddy road really was perfect for the trailer. I could have stayed there a lot longer but we had to move on to the next location. Which didn’t turn out to be easy at all.
I have a big car, a nine seater, and, of course, I got stuck in the mud. We had to work for a while before I was loose and could drive away with mud all up to the roof of my car. There is a sadness over this scenery, I think. It’s like it’s longing for the coming summer or mabye for someone to come walking down the road. I remember taking the photo to the left before we started filming so it was actually taken before anyone came down the road. I wanted a title that reflected that situation. The waiting. The longing. Expectations.
The complete story comes only with the Deluxe print.
